Voice of the Community

Being a member of the HOA gives you a voice in the decisions that are made regarding the community. We are different from the traditional HOA in that we do not make the rules, nor do we, the HOA, enforce them. Your HOA's responsibility is to assure that the promises made to you by HTA, in your prospectus, given when you purchased your Tanglewood home, are maintained.

As a member you are given the opportunity to speak at the monthly meetings if you have a topic of interest or an area of concern you'd like to share. You are also entitled to vote for board positions. Our monthly meetings are open to discussions and the sharing of ideas at the conclusion of our meeting.

Our goal as the HOA for Tanglewood is to be the voice of the community when dealing with park management. We work with the manager to ensure that the amenities and the grounds are maintained for the safety of our residents. We share this information with the residents of the park at our board meetings. We do believe there is strength in numbers, so please join the HOA so we are a force to be reckoned with.

WHAT YOUR HOA IS CONTINUING TO WORK ON

• initiated getting new banners for the community to replace faded ones

• made contact regarding CPR/AED training for the residents

• submit work orders for maintenance to the amenities and grounds for your safety

• have monthly discussions with management regarding capital expenditures and general maintenance

• monitors HTA adherence to the prospectus and Florida Statute 723

• every fall we conduct a yearly review on the proposed lease increases

• distribution of the free yearly Directories to each household in the community
